On September 11, we remembered a major milestone in our nation’s history — the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the U.S. in New York City, the Pentagon, and those who died in Pennsylvania.

Today, we mark the 70th anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor.  My father helped clean up the mess that was left when it was over.  I wish I could have been able to ask him to try and relive the images in his mind from what he saw, if he could.

My final post of the day is a tribute to those who fought to protect us, and those who died doing so.
