If you follow progressive rock, you know the voice of Jon Anderson very well.  Most closely associated with the group Yes, which he fronted for a few decades, Anderson’s is one of the most unique voices in all of music, not just rock music.

Anderson is also a prolific song writer.  Sometimes, he can come up with some downright head-scratching lyrics, but more often it’s all very spiritual, very heavenly, deeply touching.  Combine his singing voice with his spiritual lyrics, and it often feels as though you’re being sung to by a male angel.

Jon Anderson writes songs with deep meaning, songs that can touch your heart in unique ways.  I’ve listened to his songs and his singing on some of the biggest days of my entire life — on my wedding day and on the day my first son was born.  And they’ve made me bawl each time.

That’s a gift that Jon Anderson has.  It’s a good thing he can share it the way he does.
